1. Overview & Data Controller
ZURVIX Digital Agency ("ZURVIX", "we", "us", or "our"), operating via zurvix.com and represented by Founder Fahad Al Noman, is committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring complete transparency regarding how data is collected, processed, and protected.
This policy outlines our adherence to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation / GDPR), the ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC), the Norwegian Personopplysningsloven, and relevant international data privacy frameworks.
3. Google Consent Mode v2 Integration
In compliance with Google's EEA/EU mandate (effective March 2024), ZURVIX initializes Consent Mode v2 with default denied states (ad_storage: 'denied', ad_user_data: 'denied', ad_personalization: 'denied', analytics_storage: 'denied').
Furthermore, we practice strict script gating: third-party analytics and marketing scripts are not rendered or loaded into the DOM unless and until you provide active affirmative consent.
4. Consent Records & Hashed Telemetry
Under GDPR Article 7(1) (Accountability), data controllers must demonstrate that consent was given. When you save your preferences on ZURVIX:
- We generate an anonymous UUID v4 identifier stored in your browser cookie.
- Your consent choice is logged to our secure backend in an anonymized form.
- Your IP address is NEVER stored in raw form; it is hashed using a salted SHA-256 algorithm to prevent personal re-identification.
- Consent logs automatically expire after 6 months (180 days), prompting a renewal banner upon expiration.
5. Your Data Protection Rights Under GDPR
Under European data protection laws, you retain substantial rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of Access (Art. 15): You can request confirmation of whether personal data concerning you is processed.
- Right to Rectification (Art. 16): You may request inaccurate personal data to be corrected.
- Right to Erasure / "Right to be Forgotten" (Art. 17): You have the right to request deletion of your data where legally permissible.
- Right to Withdraw Consent (Art. 7(3)): You can withdraw or adjust your cookie consent at any moment via the "Cookie Settings" trigger in our footer.
- Right to Lodge a Complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority (e.g., Datatilsynet in Norway, IDPC in Malta, or your resident EU supervisory authority).
